Phnom Penh, December 13, 2025: The Thai military used F-16 fighter jets to drop bombs on the Cambodian Stueng Metoek Bridge, located in Veal Veaeng District, Pursat Province, on the morning of December 13, 2025. The bridge is situated "8.5 kilometers" from the Cambodia–Thailand border, providing clear evidence that Thailand was "not acting in self-defense" or protecting its sovereignty, but was "100% invading Cambodia," as its bombs were dropped far inside Cambodian territory.

Hangchuon Naron, Cambodia’s Minister of Education, posted on Facebook that the destruction of this bridge was no different from "the actions of terrorists." In addition to the bridge, Thailand’s aggressive military has destroyed Cambodian temples, pagodas, schools, casinos, villages, and civilian property, affecting many innocent people.

On the night of December 12, U.S. President Donald Trump spoke by phone with Anutin Charnvirakul, the Thai Prime Minister, urging Thailand to move toward the Malaysia Joint Declaration, also known as the Cambodia–Thailand Peace Agreement. However, Anutin did not follow Trump’s call. After ending the phone conversation, Thai Prime Minister posted on Facebook stating that "the war [with Cambodia] will continue."
